Kaieteur News: "As the twist in the ‘Sharma sex probe’ continues to unfold, the two girls who presented initial affidavits countering the allegations of the 13-year-old who accused Chandra Narine Sharma of repeated rape, have since recanted.
This newspaper understands that the genesis of the countering affidavits lay in a threat to have their mother incarcerated should they support their 13-year-old sister in her allegations against Sharma.
The girls aged 5, 9, 18 and 21 as well as a cousin aged 12, were all questioned at the Eve Leary Police headquarters. They joined their 13-year-old sister and relayed tales of repeated sexual encounters with the Television Station owner and Presidential Candidate of the Justice For All Party."
