Antigua Sun "A teenager who was charged with murder last year has been committed to stand trial in the High Court before a judge and jury.
The 14-year-old, in the company of his mother who stood at his side-as required by law, appeared in the St. John’s Magistrates’ Court yesterday before Chief Magistrate Ivan Walters.
He was committed to stand trial during the September sitting of the Criminal Assizes.
The teen’s attorney Steadroy 'Cutie' Benjamin asked the court to reduce the murder charge to the lesser count or to discharge the young man."
