BVI News: "A prison officer will have to answer to the charge for assault occasioning actual bodily harm when he makes a court appearance in the Magistrate Court sometime in the week.
Sendric Smith of Horsepath was arrested and charged with the offence on April 8, 2010.
It is alleged that Smith went to his girlfriend’s place of employment to pick her up on the afternoon of the above-mentioned date. However, she refused after wanting to terminate the relationship."
