Callista 'Theresa' Alleyne, a popular fruit and vegetable vendor, who operated a stall along My Lord's Hill, St Michael, just opposite the Texaco Gas Station, was found dead in the backyard of her home shortly before 6 a.m. The nude body of the 51-year-old St Lucian-born woman, with multiple wounds to the head and shoulders, lay in its own blood."
