We have lost a fine Caribbean leader, says Patterson

'The region is the poorer for the early departure of one who was so well equipped to continue making a significant contribution to refiguring the contours of Caricom (Caribbean Community) to meet the challenges of a world in the process of rapid transition,' Patterson said in a statement yesterday."
