In what could be a precedent-setting case against the State and an indictment on the justice system, 61-year-old housewife Shirley Sookar, of 25 Fairley Street, Tunapuna, has field a lawsuit against the Attorney General asking the court to declare that several of her rights under the Constitution have been violated after former judge, David Myers, failed to deliver judgment in her land case before he resigned from the Judiciary in 2008.
