In Haiti, protests over a disputed presidential election have turned deadly with rival candidates asking supporters to take to the streets.
Electoral officials are now saying there will be a recount of votes from last month's poll.
But as Al Jazeera's Imtiaz Tyab reports from the capital Port-au-prince, that message has not stopped the violence.
