I was set up, says Spragga

Cover of Spragga Benz Jamaica Gleaner DANCEHALL ARTISTE Carlton 'Spragga Benz' Grant is claiming to be a victim of a conspiracy to smear his reputation.

Grant, who has been named by the police as a person of interest arising out of a triple murder in McIntyre Villa, east Kingston, last Saturday, said yesterday on his Twitter page that he was being set up.

"All this slander and defamation and sensationalisation, even though they know I am not around and lawyers already contacted them ... . What a set up!" he told fans on the social-networking site.
