Trinidad Express Newspaper "Low fares airline REDjet has encountered another delay in its bid to start operating in the Caribbean.
Jamaican authorities, which REDjet CEO Ian Burns said last week had given the airline the all-clear to begin operations, have now forced REDjet to postpone several flights until later this month.
At a news conference in Port of Spain last week, Burns announced the airline was cancelling 14 flights scheduled to depart from Piarco International Airport because it was unable to get the necessary approvals for its advertised May 8 start date from local aviation authorities."
