Trinidad and Tobago's Newsday "TRINIDAD and Tobago’s Embassy in New York, United States (US) as well as the Piarco International Airport are now on heightened alert after the death of al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden in an operation by US forces in Pakistan on Sunday, according to State officials.
While US citizens celebrated the killing of bin Laden after a 40-minute operation in a fenced compound in the Pakistani city of Abbottabad, fears rose in some quarters over the possibility of a retaliation attack from al-Qaeda.
With the al-Qaeda second in command Ayman al-Zawhari still at large, US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton warned that bin Laden’s death may not be the end of the war against terrorist cells."
