Trinidad and Tobago's Newsday "A team of doctors led by veteran obstetrician/gynaecologist Dr Krishna Rampersadsingh yesterday performed a three-hour surgery at the San Fernando General Hospital (SFGH) to save the life of a 41-year-old woman whose baby was growing outside of her womb.
The woman, of Ste Madeleine, remains warded at the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in a stable condition. Her baby, a boy, has been placed in an incubator in the neo-natal unit but doctors say his chance for survival is slim. She was due to give birth in September."
