Sacramento Bee: "GEORGETOWN, Guyana -- A Guyanese official says engineers are dismantling the wreckage of a Caribbean Airlines jet that skidded off a runway of the country's international airport a week ago.
Airport executive Ramesh Ghir says workers expect to have the aircraft removed from the runway by the middle of next week.
The jet carrying 163 passengers overshot the runway and split in half just after landing on July 30. About three dozen passengers were injured."
