Tropical wave over central Caribbean becoming better organized

ABC Action News "TAMPA - A tropical wave over the central Caribbean Sea is showing signs of development, according to forecasters at the National Hurricane Center.

So far, there are no signs of surface circulation and pressures have not fallen in the region.

The system is moving west at 15-20 mph and is expected to stay south of the Tampa Bay area.

There is a medium chance - 30 percent - that it could develop into a tropical storm within the 48 hours."
