JamaicaObserver.com: "PRIME Minister Bruce Golding says Jamaica's economic situation has not reached a crisis level that could jeorpardise the country's Stand-by Agreement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
Golding's comments late Thursday night at the closing of the debate on the Supplementary Estimates came just two days after Financial Secretary Dr Wesley Hughes told a parliamentary committee that the country's ability to meet the medium-term targets of the IMF, with which it resumed a borrowing relationship last year, could be in jeopardy."
