Bermuda Sun "TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 6: A Tropical Storm Watch is set to be issued for Hurricane Katia, meteorologists said today.
The warning came as Katia was predicted to pass as close as 239 nautical miles from Bermuda on Thursday morning.
Ken Smith, a meteorologist with the Bermuda Weather Service, said: “A Tropical Storm Watch means these conditions are possible.
“People should be keeping an eye on our website – the track forecast for Katia is pretty good, but the intensity keeps fluctuating."
